Setting Up Autodesk Fusion for Success

I’ve recently helped a colleague with a tech support issue for Autodesk Fusion. I thought the best thing to do, is to put my go-to solutions into a single place, in the hope that this may be useful to someone else.

Setting up the environment that your software runs in is key, specifically if you have a high-end graphics card. So here it is, 4 things you can do to get your system running well.

System Specs – Can the PC/Mac actually run Fusion? This link is updated regularly: System Requirements

Clear your Cache: Quick, effective and often solves a lot of problems: Clear Cache

Graphics – Trust me, you’re doing it wrong, this is how to set your graphics up properly to run Fusion.

Anti-Virus: Yip, it’s there to protect you, but every so often it works against you. Give this article a read: Anti-Virus

Most of the above applies to Windows. I currently use both macOS and Windows. Generally, Windows seems to “interfere” more with the setup of software, specifically when it comes to graphics.
