AU London 2019 – Thank You!

Another successful AU London done and dusted!

The 3rd Annual Autodesk University was held at the Tobacco Dock in London this week. If you missed it, you really missed out, but you can see recordings of the live main stage presentations here: https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/conference/live-stream  the classes will probably go live in a few weeks.

I just wanted to say a personal BIG THANKS to Peter Smith of iaconnects, our IoT partner for for supplying the demo kit for the Datech lounge, as well as to Mark Vitorovic of 4tiitoo who was with us from Germany showing off their really cool technology for retina tracking.

In the image above you can just make out a laptop (bottom left corner). We had cloud virtualised instances of Inventor, Revit and AutoCAD running on laptops and iPads, courtesy of the Cloud Services team at Tech Data, this is really exciting, as this technology is now better than ever in terms of performance, and cost.

Below is a pic of one of my colleagues JP van Gastel running one of his hands on sessions.
